Armenia 1 - Self-conscious

Armenia, a country with snow-capped mountains, green pastures, many churches and monastries, and a self-conscious people still burdened by the Turkish genocide a hundred years ago. Especiallly outside the capital, poverty and remembrances of the Soviet period still remain.
