Each year the island of Terschelling comes under the spell of the Oerol festival. So too in 2017. Art and nature come together, up-and-coming artists and companies are given a chance to prove themselves and a great diversity of street artists and buskers flood the island in a wave of creativity, all this to bring enlightenment and entertainment. 'High' and 'low' culture, young and old, children, party animals, early birds, culture lovers, all exist fraternally together in an atmosphere of tolerance and friendliness.
